Here's what's going on in my town. There is a new Hogs Detailed sign. We live in the country and process our own game so I'm not sure if this is swine detailed or motorcycles detailed. Never you mind, I have no swine or motorcycles. I do have The Beast, and it already has a weekly washer.The Community Courier is the bearer of all things good. The Grange will have a barbecue on Saturday. You better get there quick because it sells out
Farmers Market To Open In Paradise (this is a town near me)

Shady Maple Farm Market is having a Chicken Truckload Sale (probably to stock all those barbecues)
Hersheys Farm Market has fresh strawberry pie at its rib bar-b-q
This is the next week: Robert Fulton Fire Company Auxiliary will hold an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast on Saturday. Ditto the Christiana Fire Company. The White Horse Fire Co. is having chicken. Also The Daisies Learn Compassion. And RV and Camping Month is declared.
The next week, WFC to Hold 50th Chicken Barbecue. This is the headline. A sidebar notes that The Pennsylvania Amish County Gourd Fest will be on Thursday. Intercourse (yes, another town) is celebrating Heritage Days where children can ride tractors.
As you can see, we have lots of meals in churches and fire halls.

We take our livestock very seriously. There are also a 13 YR. OLD Morgan mare, traffic safe, and sound; and a 15 YR Old Morgan Gelding which is a good buggy horse with lots of snap. A lot of horses for sale have snap. My favorite this week is a 6 YR OLD Belgian Mare that is good broke for the jockey stick & ready for hard work. Also 2 PYGMY GOATS.

There are also registered miniature southdown "Babydoll" lambs. Someone else offers sheep shearing services. No good farm machinery this week. There is a job where you need to be fluid in Spanish. The beet picking jobs must be filled.
The Dutch-Way Farm Market has hamburger patties for $2.49 a pound if you buy a 5 lb. box. This is also for church barbecues. And guess what? Kingsford charcoal is on sale.
